Overnight Experienced Direct Support Professionals needed to provide direct care to a young man who has autism and epilepsy and lives in the northwest corner of Philadelphia.

Shifts available:

Tuesday: 7:00 pm to 10:00 am the next morning.

Thursday: 9:30 pm to 10:00 am the next morning

Friday: 12:00 am to 10:00 am the next morning

Saturday: 9:30 pm to 10:00 am the next morning.

We are hiring one or two people who have significant experience with autism and seizure support. You must be able to provide support with seizure care, overnight support, and personal care. Staff must have experience following a Behavior Plan, have medical experience, and work as a team with the family and the professional staff. Experience as a TSS, SSW, or PCA is preferred.

Education needed: A CNA, LPN, ADN, or RBT certification or a Bachelor’s degree in one of these related fields: Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a current NADD Competency-Based IDD/MI Dual Diagnosis Direct Support Professional Certification

Applicants must be capable, calm, patient, willing to learn new skills, and have significant experience providing care, following a Positive Behavior Plan and seizure care experience.

You must:

· Be at least 18 years of age

· Be reliable and responsible

· Pass a drug test and the PA Background Check process

· Have a valid driver’s license and have daily access to dependable transportation.

The hours are flexible.

The pay rate ranges from $19.82 - $35.00 an hour depending on the service provided.
