Position Title: Fitness Lead/Manager

Job Summary: Fitness Lead’s are responsible for developing their own personal training client base and personal sales (DotFit/My Zone/Health Coaching Platforms/Optivia nutritional programs). Fitness Leads are looked to as a knowledge base and head Personal Trainer that will support the General Manager to educate and train the Personal Training Team on sales, products, and grow the overall personal training business in the club.
Fitness Leads exemplify our Personal Trainer code of conduct and set a positive example for the whole team. Fitness Leads are expected to set the gold standard as a personal trainer and a mentor to all fitness professionals by possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities to ensure company, team and personal success.
Requirements:
- 2-year or 4-year College Degree; or Fitness Management Experience in Health Club Industry.
- 2+ years of personal training sales experience with proven results.
- Current CPR/AED Certification and basic First Aid knowledge.
- Currently Nationally in one of the following: NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, NEPT, ISSA.
- Hour and day flexibility to work any schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently promote our proprietary fitness platforms to all members, guests, and staff.
- Hire/train a highly effective team promoting great fitness programing and customer service; focusing on the development and education of staff, clients, and guests. Dedicate 10 hours per week to developing the team
- Punctual and prepared for all appointments with clients and staff meetings. Servant leadership abilities through motivation and education.
- Promotes DotFit/My Zone/Health Coaching Platforms/Optivia nutritional programs – meets/exceeds sales expectations & goals assigned.
- Conducts Crunch-One Kick-Offs, and Follow-ups according to company protocol and trains team how to do the same.
- Completes regular on-going education for self-improvement and to stay on top of industry leading techniques, sales, products, and programming. Educates members and team on current health and fitness issues and trends.
- Attends and participates in all Crunch and CDO required Webinars.
- Exceptional member service orientation and possesses outstanding communication skills
- Experience in designing exercise programs tailored to the needs of specific client goals and has the experience needed to teach other trainers to do the same.
- Maintains personal integrity, personal health, and fitness.
- Promotes, sells personal training programs, and services and assists staff in doing so.
- Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
- Ensures personal training department reaches all sales goals including - supplements, personal training, small group training.
- Meets/exceeds personal & company sales goals for the month.
- Schedules team members appropriately for floor hours, orientations, and assists in closing sales.
- Uses time management skills to use time effectively & efficiently.
- Schedules meetings when needed with Leadership and Teams.
- Supports General Manager in all club directives.
- As a leader of your Club, Fitness Leads may also be asked/required to take on tasks outside of this job description.
