General Food Service - Food Service Generalist
Job description
Creative Dining Services and Trinity Christian College are looking to fill General Food Service- positions. You will learn culinary skills and have the opportunity to grow in a great foodservice organization. This position is the perfect starting point for the aspiring food and beverage novice or for the seasoned pro who is looking to wind down a successful career. Must be available to work at least one weekend day per week. Insurance and other benefits available in addition to shift meals. Multiple positions and shifts available. Must be 18 years of age.
Core Responsibilities:
setup and cleanup
light cooking
salad bar maintenance
cashier functions
catering support
and other duties as assigned
Ideal candidate will have:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Basic reading and math skills
- Previous culinary experience
- Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location
- Knowledge and ability to operate cash register and various payment forms
