If you enjoy cleaning and also the elderly population, Bethany Lutheran Home in Brandon would love to talk with you about our opening for a summer housekeeping position. Enjoy evenings off and most weekends. Position would be June through August 2023

• FT Day hours- 7am-3pm, Every third to possibly fourth weekend rotation!

This position is responsible for cleanliness in all aspects of the facility. The ideal candidates will enjoy caring and interacting with our elderly residents, maintaining cleanliness in the resident's living areas and common areas; our housekeepering staff provide a pleasant experience for all residents and visitors to the community. Housekeepers take pride in providing a beautiful and clean community for residents and guests.

Job responsibilities:

• Cleans resident rooms (on the North & South wings), wards closets, baths, and offices.
• Clean, mops, and dust furniture and equipment.
• Clean windowsills and empties trash baskets.
• Arrange furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Scour and polishe sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment, and replenishes supplies of soap and towels.
• Polishes stainless steel and cleans and polishes glass panels in doors and partitions.
• Keeps utility storage rooms in good order by cleaning equipment, arranging supplies, and sweeping and mopping the floor.
• Cleans dresser drawers..
• Performs a variety of related duties.
• Performs other duties assigned.

REQUIRMENTS

Experience in housekeeping preferred.
