Explorers Learning Center is a small business in Muskegon, MI. We are professional, creative, inclusive and our goal is to Explorers Learning Center is a locally owned and operated family of four early learning centers located in Roosevelt Park, Muskegon. We have been providing child development programs for infants through school age children since 2016. Our programs are licensed by the state of Michigan and accredited by Great Start to Quality ( GSTQ). Explorers partners with the Creative Curriculum in our infant/toddler/preschool classrooms. This research based and proven curriculum features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. .

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and dependable Director/ Lead Teacher to join our team. The director will be involved in managing our infant rooms and a small amount of director work. The successful applicant will be expected to follow all safety guidelines as well as set clear boundaries for students and be able to provide daily feedback to parents.

Responsibilities:

• Communicating with children.
• Teach basic academic skills.
• Manage and plan activities for specific age groups of children,
• Collect and maintain data on children's progress and development.
• Identify the individual needs of children and the groups they are in.
• Educate children about the environment and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Muskegon, MI 49441: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Lead Childcare: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate w/ 18 credit hours in ECE (Required)
