McLaren Health Plan (MHP) is a Managed Care Organization dedicated to meeting the health care needs of each member. Position Overview:

Responsible for the administrative direction, evaluation and coordination of the delivery of health care services of McLaren Integrated HMO Group Assigned Plan, which includes oversight of the Credentialing and Quality departments. Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support all aspects of the Quality Improvement Performance Plan (QPIP). Manages the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) process. Facilitates the delivery of medical care in a cost efficient and quality manner with a focus on member satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health care or business-related field
  • Five (5) years’ experience performing quality management activities in a managed care organization, including HEDIS, NCQA, including at least two (2) years’ experience in a leadership role leading a professional staff of five or more members in all phases of effective supervision (i.e. Recruitment, performance management, training).

Preferred:

  • Five (5) years progressive experience in a leadership role in group health plan operations
  • Two (2) years’ experience with accrediting entities such as NCQA.
