Job description

This roll will prepare designs and 2D finished prints and prepare and submit release packages in Autodesk prepare designs and 2D finished prints and prepare and submit release packages in Autodesk Vault Professional. Must have an Engineering Degree.

Some travel in support of installation, site survey and/or special maintenance cases may be required. Travel to audit vendors with procurement and quality may also be required. Engineer will work with fabricated metal parts, machined metal parts, sheet metal assemblies and welded assemblies.

• Design and modeling of baggage screener
• Design of fixtures and inspection aids
• Prepare detailed designs and manufacturing prints components
• Develop mechanical test and debug procedures and field repair procedures in partnership with service
• Assist in selection and qualification of new suppliers
• BSME with experience in 3D CAD system, preferably with Autodesk Inventor
• Must be proficient in the use of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Experience using built-in modeling tools in CAD applications
• Understand how to use constraints in design systems.
