Villa Healthcare is seeking for committed and passionate individuals to join our teams as a Nursing Assistant to join our Nursing Teams. As a Nursing Assistant , you will work closely with our Certified Nursing Assistants and Nurse Managers to receive hands-on experience in providing quality care for our Residents. As you begin your career in Healthcare as a Nursing Assistant in Training, Villa Healthcare will support you in obtaining your Nursing Assistant Certification - Free of Cost!

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation

• Help with mobility around the facility or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

• Assist with personal care and hygiene

• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years or older

• Must be able to work a block schedule (FT or PT) and attend schedule training during the first week of orientation

• Passion and enjoy working with older adults
• Passion and committed in becoming a Nursing Assistant within 3 months of less

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment is preferred

Must be employed for 30+ days to enroll into the Nursing Assistant Training Program.
