GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Kristi House Project GOLD Programs Coordinator is responsible for managing the Project GOLD groups, enrichment, and internship program as well as coordination of screening tools and assessments. The position also supervises the Project GOLD Transportation Coordinators. The Programs Coordinator will be supervised by the Project GOLD Programs Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision to Transportation Coordinators to ensure adherence to Kristi House and program rules and policies, confidentiality, and appropriate delivery and documentation of direct services and daily operations of the Drop In Center.
  • Create and manage the weekly schedule of group programming and supervise the implementation of prevention, employment, and clinical group curriculums when appropriate based on members' ages and needs.
  • Network with community organizations to develop partnerships in order to build a sustainable and diverse internship program and group program.
  • Collaborating with the Bridges to the Future Supervisor to coordinate internship opportunities for members.
  • Supervise, manage and schedule all enrichment programs including winter, spring, and summer field trips, holiday and graduation celebrations, and any needed extra-curricular activities.
  • Assist Programs Manager with oversight of screening tools and assessments for members at Project GOLD are being completed in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Project GOLD research team regarding data collection pertaining to assessments, screening tools, and surveys, as otherwise needed.
  • Promote a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive atmosphere of dignity and respect in line within the philosophy of Kristi House and Project GOLD to all members and staff.
  • Facilitate group at the Drop In Center as needed.
  • Coordinate ongoing member surveys as needed.
  • Assist with transportation of members when needed.
  • Monitor member group and internship program engagement and provide follow up and feedback as needed.
  • Create weekly flyers/bulletins for program scheduling and updates
  • Network and serve as a representative of Kristi House in the community to raise awareness of Project GOLD services at the Drop-In Center and strengthen client referral networks and alliances with other providers who can best serve our clients as needed.
  • Attend trainings as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in a social work, mental health, criminal justice, or social service-related field.
  • Experience working with teenagers and experience with group programming and curriculum preferred.
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills are necessary.
