Summary – basic function of the role

Partners with hiring managers to design and implement recruiting strategies that will attract highly qualified candidates. Role will be primarily focused on recruiting hourly Talent across all of our US locations, as well as professional level roles within HQ. Recruiter is responsible for ensuring successful execution of the Enerpac full lifecycle talent acquisition process and a positive candidate experience through onboarding.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct scoping meeting with hiring manager to set appropriate recruiting strategies and align on candidate skill expectations to ensure positions are filled with qualified talent efficiently.
  • Create attractive job postings with a lens towards increasing attraction of diverse candidates.
  • Source passive and active talent using internet sourcing methods, social media, job fairs, and creative sourcing techniques. Determine new resourceful means of attracting talent including creation of recruiting collateral and placing job advertisements in various media.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants. Coordinates and participates in onsite and external job fairs and represents Enerpac.
  • Vendor management - Partners with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Develop and maintain talent pools for high volume reoccurring openings.
  • Reviews resumes against qualifications and phone screens candidates accordingly to ensure there is a mutual fit.
  • Coordinate and arranges onsite interviews.
  • Draft candidate offer letters and partner with third party to initiate background check and drug screens.
  • Coordinate onboarding with new hire to ensure a seamless first day at Enerpac Tool Group.
  • Develops recruitment policies and best practices to support the organization.

  • Experience in a high volume recruiting environment – ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

  • Experience infusing diversity, equity and inclusion into hiring practices

Education and Experience

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • DE&I Recruitment Certified preferred but not required.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1 -3 years’ experience working with full cycle recruiting, specifically recruiting hourly candidates, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is required.

Physical Demands

Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee is able to work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time.

Work Environment

Primary work environment is temperature-controlled office setting, but may also include typical warehouse environment on occasion, where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. Employee will be exposed to low levels of noise in an office.
