JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Route/Sales Delivery Driver

Essential Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver product to customers in an efficient, timely, courteous and accurate manner
• Directly interface with customers in order to establish a positive working relationship at each account; proudly represent Prairie Farms Dairy
• Merchandise and rotate product at all accounts which also includes: filling shelves, refilling out of stocks, removing out of date products, picking up empty crates and returning them to the warehouse
• Maintain routes and accounts for proper routing sequence and helps with collections and minimum delivery requirements set by the store or the company
• Comply with operating procedures based on stop requirements (collecting receivers, signatures, scan in/out)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections in accordance with company policy
• Complete ending inventory on all products left on truck at end of day
• Submit all customer paperwork and deposits daily; including delivery invoices, credits, receivers and handheld reports
• Know and comply with all DOT regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook
• Maintain your CDL and DOT medical card per DOT regulations
• Provide electronic consent on the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse website
• Keep uniforms, person, cabs and trailers clean and presentable
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs and Quality standards
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision making abilities
• Work safely and efficiently while driving, walking, lifting and loading
