Our Pet Segment is seeking a Saltwater Fish Manager to be a part of our Sun Pet Division out of Atlanta, Georgia. Your primary role will be to manage production and work with employees to ensure processes are running smoothly. MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Lead by example by maintaining a safe and clean work environment and complying and enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform annual performance reviews for all employees in your department.
• Reviewing and approving employee timecards for bi-weekly payroll.
• Utilize resources to ensure quality and customer service standards are being met.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment as a manager or supervisor.
• Knowledge and experience of saltwater fish care.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish language skills strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Office software preferred (Excel and Word).
• Ability to walk and stand for up to 10 hours plus per shift.
• High School Diploma required.
• College Degree is preferred.

· WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed in a warehouse environment in a leadership role.
• There may be some variation in work hours due to overtime, special projects, deadlines, and other concerns.
