We at DC Private Investigations and Security Consultants are a growing business in the Security and Investigations industry. We have immediate openings for Armed Security Officers. The Security Officer will provide security at numerous client locations throughout Pueblo County and surrounding areas.

We encourage Ex/Retired-Law Enforcement and Ex-Military who were either retired or honorably discharged to apply.

In order to qualify for this position:

• You must own a weapon (9mm, .40 or 45)
• Must be able to pass background check
• It is preferred that you obtain a MED (Marijuana Enforcement Division) badge prior to initial interview, which you can obtain through DORA- Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide Armed and Unarmed Security at our client's Business location.
• Secure Perimeter Observe and Report Crime to local law enforcement agencies when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• MED Badge (must have or working on getting)
• Own a service weapon(Gun)
• High school Diploma/Equivalent
• Previous law enforcement/military/corrections experience preferred
• Own a service weapon(Gun)
• Ability to follow chain of command
• Work well under pressure
• Pay attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently and function with limited supervision
• Must practice good grooming standards
• Must have dependable means of transportation
• Customer service skills
• Must demonstrate excellent writing, oral, analytical, and communication skills
• Capable of preforming duties with high level of accuracy and maintain highest level of integrity
• Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions
• Must demonstrate good teamwork ability

****** This position requires the individual to be able to, stand, run, bend, crouch, kneel, sit, climb stairs for extended periods of time during your shift, and walk up to 10 miles during any given shift. Must be able to bend and twist the body when needed. Must be able to repeat some movements for long periods of time without getting tired or out of breath. React quickly using hands, fingers and feet. Some assignments do include working outside in inclement weather. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and up. Must be able to write clear and concise reports of incidents which have taken place on your shift.***

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
