Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Open Order Sales Rep (Repair) to promote innovative solutions with customers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prospect existing accounts for Open Order sales opportunities
- Visit customer accounts three days per week
- Consult with customers on upgrades relating to enhancing safety or reliability
- Survey existing accounts for obsolescence – propose, educate, and consult with customer
- Responsible for independent site surveying of elevator equipment
- Responsible for completion of all safety modules for Service Supervisors
- Ensure that all mechanic’s leads are proposed within 10 business days
- Process a sales per awarding protocol and systems
- Utilize Otis Sales & Activity Tracking Systems (CRM)
- Attend daily callback meetings each day and weekly business review meetings
- Follow-up on Proposals until formally dispositioned
- Coach Retention Reps, Outside Supervisors, & Service Mechanics on how to identify Open Order opportunities, submit leads and consult with customers
- Ensure Accounts Receivable does not exceed 15% over 90 days
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent
Basic Qualifications
- 1 + years sales experience required
- Proven track record selling and negotiating service contracts
- Comfortable with cold-calling current and future customers with OO opportunities
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Elevator industry experience a plus
