Summer is about exploration and fun! If you love the outdoors and playing with kids, then this job is for you!

Nature Story is looking for outdoor enthusiasts that love working with children! FINS (Field Immersion Nature School) is Nature Story’s elementary summer camp based out of our Montana City location.

Each day students and staff will be split up into groups. Staff will accompany alternating groups of students to the wilderness location assigned each week. The pre-planned, Montessori based, daily curriculum will be presented, then students are returned to the school. Other groups remain at the school and have their own pre-planned curriculum and activities to do on site. Learn more about our program at www.naturestorymontessori.com/finssummerprogram

We also understand that this is your summer, too, so we offer flexible scheduling to our staff. We want those who have a passion for teaching, but we understand that time is the only thing you can never get back. This is why we would happily accept part time and/or full time candidates. This is a flexible full time or part time position. We want to work with your schedule! No weekends!

Lead Salary: $15 - $17 per hour, depending on experience

Aide/Sub Salary: $11 - $14 per hour, depending on availability and experience

Responsibilities:

• Presenting pre-prepped summer curriculum
• Bussing children to locations to implement nature-based curriculum
• Enjoying the outdoors whilst leading wilderness activities
• Engaging with elementary-aged students
• Other misc duties

Education:

• Lead: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Aide/sub: Minimum 16 years old with a valid driver’s license

Pay: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour
