Innovation Learning, one of the fastest growing before and after school providers in the country is looking for Floating Substitute Teachers to work at 5 different YMCA in Georgia. We offer exemplary and professional before and after-school programming for elementary-aged students.
We have a unique PART-TIME opening for someone who is passionate about working with students in our structured before and after school programs.
You will be guaranteed a minimum of 10 hours per week depending on the needs of our different sites. Monday through Friday. You can work more hours if interested. Opportunities to work morning, afternoon, or both with the possibility of additional hours available during early dismissal/vacation days may also exist for candidates who are interested.
The Floating Sub Will:
· Travel between our before and after school programs acting as a substitute teacher.
· Engage children enthusiastically while having fun.
· Supervise a small group of children while guiding them through a schedule.
· Organize the daily materials for all lessons and activities.
· Implements effective classroom management strategies and supervision.
· Assist children with homework, providing direction, offering support, checking for accuracy.
· Develops strong relationships with students.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
· 1 Year documented experience working with children.
· A 2-year college degree or childcare certificate in teaching, learning, curriculum, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
