This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), with a salary range of $55,000 - $60,000, health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, and more.

Responsibilities:

We are a small but growing company, and that means you may be required to wear multiple hats throughout your day. As a Lead Installer at BC Interiors, you will be a key part of our operations team. Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Lead and supervise a team of installers in the efficient and timely installation of commercial and education furniture projects.
  • Coordinate and schedule furniture projects with customers, aligning them with project requirements and available resources.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to provide a smooth installation process that meets customer expectations.
  • Effectively manage the schedules of a team of installers, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
  • Oversee the delivery and receipt of furniture items to project sites.
  • Manage the assembly, installation, and placement of furniture, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues or challenges.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices throughout the installation process.
  • Train and mentor junior installers to improve their skills and enhance team performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the completed installations.
  • Produce accurate and thorough documentation of punch issues, including descriptions, photographs, and any other relevant details.
  • Conduct post-installation walkthroughs with customers and obtain project signoffs.
  • Maintain inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly serviced and in good working condition.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a lead installer or installation manager in commercial and/or education furniture installation, with proven leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, floor plans, and furniture assembly instructions.
  • Strong knowledge of different furniture systems, installation techniques, and hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges during installations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to coordinate and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with project stakeholders, clients, and team members.
  • Proficient in English
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead a team to achieve project goals.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality installations.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy furniture items as required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
