Magna-Power Electronics, a Flemington, New Jersey based electronics manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Information Systems to join its dedicated world class team. Magna-Power's success is built upon many of the core internal software and infrastructure technologies to crosslink various processes and areas of the company. The Director of Information Systems is a new position that will continue to push these technologies forward, while working closely with the CEO and CTO to define and implement new technologies as the company grows. There will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams.

The Director of Information Systems is responsible for:

• Developing, maintaining, and expanding existing continuous integration technologies
• Overseeing the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) development
• Defining internal network architecture and implementing best practices to ensure security
• Researching, deploying, upgrading, and modifying various software in the company’s toolchain
• Maintaining and implementing the company’s data integrity strategies
• Enhancing computer systems performance through identification and resolution of bottlenecks, whether through database access or hardware optimization

The education and experience for this position includes:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering science, computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or similar program. Master’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing IT infrastructure
• Excellent understanding of network architectures and security practices
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerized software platforms
• Strong background with database design, management, and optimization
• Minimum 3 years' of intensive Python coding experience
• Deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle
• Excellent written and verbal skills
