The position requires going to multiple outpatient clinic locations (twice a month in each office location):

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in outpatient clinic settings.
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Staff cases with Attending physician.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Electronic EMR: KAREO (easy to use with made templates)
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatments.
- Schedule is flexible with Tu - Sa 9AM-5PM usually and there is 1F, 1Sa, 1Tu, 1W off per month as well.
- Clinic hours and days are flexible. Mostly it is 16-18 days in the clinic; 2-3 days are remote work from home, completing either tele-visits (appx 4-5 in a day) or paperwork/record review for consults.
Qualifications:
- Active NY Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license and NYS WCB Rating/Number.
- Prior outpatient experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to travel to all the practice locations is a requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- There is No OR/surgical time and no overnight call/on-call hours.
- Training for outpatient procedures including Botox, Trigger points, Occipital nerve blocks is given.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary with a yearly increase and a production bonus. We do not offer a benefits package or a health insurnace coverage. Malpractice insurnace is covered. There are 3 weeks of paid time off per year, starting after 9 months of continuous employment. Paid time off does not accumulate carry into next the following year.
Ideal candidate:
This position is primarily for someone who has a long term outlook and is looking to grow with the practice over the next 3-4 years.
