YOUR TASKS
- Interpret and incorporate local and federal as well as customer requirements into system architectures
- Support the Technical Project Manager to achieve all customer technical requirements
- Create, review and release system and sub-system specification and other engineering documentation related to the signaling systems
- Follow scheduling, budgetary goals and guidelines
- Support Procurement, Production, Commissioning and Type Testing departments
- Take ownership of the design and architecture, documentation and function of signaling systems
- Support FAI's for signaling systems, if necessary
- Integration of signaling systems into our vehicles
- Technical coordination with other disciplines (installation planning, electrical and mechanical engineering, fire protection, etc.)
- Support static and dynamic field testing (both wayside and on-board)
