1st Shift Warehouse/Assembly Associate
LogiQuip LLC. is a privately owned and operated company located in Galesburg, Michigan. We are a provider of hospital grade storage equipment for hospital systems located throughout the United States. We take pride in combining our best-in-class products with excellent customer service. LogiQuip currently has an opening for a 1st shift Warehouse/Assembly Associate at our Galesburg facility.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams including Sales, Operations, Customer Support and Accounting to exceed customer expectations to ensure we continue to expand our market.
- Possess strong communication skills and are comfortable interacting with customers.
- While the work is during a typical ‘1st shift’ there are times before/after weekdays or possibly on weekends that work may be necessary to meet goals.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and able to operate independently with limited direct supervision.
- Capable of adapting to change and able to successfully perform in an evolving environment.
- Results oriented - ensuring we deliver on commitments while also working to continuously improve our processes.
- Support and advance our project management and installation.
- Have strong listening and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop plans to improve processes.
- Package products for shipments.
- Loading trucks/driving forklift.
- Pick and replace stock.
- Light manufacturing or assembly skills.
- Receiving / Shipping product.
- Cleaning and organizing warehouse areas.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Can lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work well with others and be able to demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Ability to use math and data entry skills.
- Can operate forklifts or has the ability to be trained.
- Available to work 40 hours and overtime as needed.
- HS diploma/GED.
- Able to us computer programs such as MS-Office or database programs.
- Customer service (problem solving and analytical skills).
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills
- Process improvement experience.
- Developing, working with and able to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Proficient in Computer skill – Word, Excel and ability to use a freight shipping software program.
- Light Manufacturing or assembly skills.
- A drive to learn more skills and earn more.
*** Please note that the annual salary listed refers to all compensation potential including overtime opportunities and quarterly bonuses.
A candidate's experience, reliability, positive attitude and interest level in growth opportunities will be the main factors considered when determining a compensation amount.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,280.00 - $59,000.00 per year
